The usual failure is not knowledge. It is two people deciding what to eat at seven in the evening, tired, with nothing prepared.

The fix is a shared base: the same protein, the same vegetables, the same three or four repeatable meals. The difference between two goals is portion of starch and fat, not two separate dinners.

One shop, one plan, one decision made on Sunday instead of seven made badly during the week.
